Convert a profile to an editable permission set.

Steps:

User Access and Permissions Wizard | Converter | Select the profile to convert | Select Convert to Permission Set | Name the permission set | Record types and tab access are not included in the conversion 

Check:

To see the status of the conversion, click View Batch Job. To see the new permission set, click View permission set.
