Salesforce Flow now allows outbound messages to be sent #inSalesforce

Salesforce Flow now allows for outbound messages to be sent without the need for workflow rules.

Previously, outbound messages could only be sent through workflow rules and actions, but now Salesforce Flow can also send them. 

To create and send an outbound message, you no longer need to use a workflow rule. Simply go to the setup menu and search for outbound messages. Provide a name and description for the outbound message, specify the endpoint URL for the message, and choose the user who will be the sender. 

You can also trigger outbound messages from a flow by adding additional fields, saving the outbound message once it's created, searching for flows in the quick find, and clicking on 'New Flow' in the upper right-hand corner. Note that this functionality only works with record-triggered flows.
