Install the Salesforce Authenticator Mobile App on your Mobile
Go to Setup | Advanced User Details | Click Enroll Lightning Login Field - to enable Lightning Login | Once you click that, you will be asked to check mobile | Go to Mobile - Salesforce Authenticator App | Here you see the notification to approve the Lightning Login Enrollment | Check the details and click Approve | The App will prompt to enter the fingerprint or passcode to finish the request - You will use it as second factor of authentication
Enrollment is done and now back to Salesforce
To Test
Logout to see the password-less login
Prerequisite: you have to click 'remember me' to remember the username on next login
This time while login you are not asked to enter the password, the authenticator prompts you to Approve or Deny | Just scan a fingerprint or enter the passcode and you are in
