Pilot - Usually the first phase of public testing. It may include a small subset of participant Organizations

BETA - These include the ones with successful Pilots. This involves rolling the feature out publicly for testing.

e.g., Setup > Automation Home (Beta), etc.

Generally Available (GA) - These include those which has passed the Pilot and BETA testing phases. These will be formally included in a Salesforce release. 

e.g., Lightning Flow, etc.
