Approval Processes

Approvals are complex business processes that require information gathering and planning before implementing. It is recommended that you follow the instructions below before getting started.


Steps:

Set up > Approval Processes > Select the object from 'Manage Approval Processes For:' >

Click Create New Approval Process > May be standard set up wizard >

  • Enter Name and Description.
  • Specify Entry Criteria as per need
  • Specify Approver Field and Record Editability Properties
  • Select Notification Templates
  • Select Fields to Display on Approval Page Layout
  • Specify Initial Submitters
  • Save
After that define the Approval steps as per need where its field update, create task, send email etc.
