Approval Processes
Approvals are complex business processes that require information gathering and planning before implementing. It is recommended that you follow the instructions below before getting started.
Steps:
Set up > Approval Processes > Select the object from 'Manage Approval Processes For:' >
Click Create New Approval Process > May be standard set up wizard >
- Enter Name and Description.
- Specify Entry Criteria as per need
- Specify Approver Field and Record Editability Properties
- Select Notification Templates
- Select Fields to Display on Approval Page Layout
- Specify Initial Submitters
- Save
After that define the Approval steps as per need where its field update, create task, send email etc.
