Troubleshoot - User with the same profile like you and on click of New obj record button have a different view than you?

User with the same profile like you, after click New obj record button has a different view than you? How can you set up to have the same layout? We have the same record type, but different layouts.

Steps to use to verify things:

• Check if both of you are assigned to same profiles.
• No additional/different permission set is assigned (or permission assignment matches)
• Same level of FLS assignment to both of you
• Both are attempting to create the record with same record type
• The page layout(s) is standard or custom. If standard, please check if the NEW button has any custom logic, which could act differently and if custom layout (like VF or Lightning in backend), check if there's different custom logic.
