Owner-Based Sharing Rules #inSalesforce

This opens access to records owned by certain users.

Prerequisite: If Public group is involved to share with group of Users, make usre public group is created before the Owner-based sharing rule

Steps:

Setup | Sharing Settings | In the Sharing Rules related list for the object, click New | Enter the label name and rule name |  For rule type, select Based on record owner | Specify which users’ records are shared | Specify the users who get access to the data | Select sharing access settings for users | Save
