This is to let your users know when certain events occur in Salesforce like when user receive approval request etc.


Types:

In-app notifications:

This notifies user regarding the activities while user is in Salesforce app.

By tapping Notification icon (bell icon right side top), a user can view the 20 most recent notifications received within the last 90 days.

Push notifications:

This notifies the user while on a mobile device when a user has installed Salesforce for Android or iOS but isn’t using it.


Steps to enable or disable:

  • Set up | Notifications Settings | Enable or any of these:
 Enable in-app notifications 
 Enable push notifications 
  • Save
