From App Launcher | Reports tab | Click New Report.| Choose the Opportunity History as the report type. | Include the fields you want to include. By default - 'From Stage' and 'To Stage' appears. Together, these show you Opportunity Stage field changes and how long that period lasted via 'Stage Duration' field. | Click the dropdown arrow in the Stage Duration field - Select Summarize - Make sure that the Sum and Average is selected. | Save.
