Update logo on App home page


Steps:

1. 

Save the Logo in Document Library

   Note:

  • Store the image Folder that's accessible so that users can see.
  • The image must be in GIF, PNG or JPEG format and less than 20 KB in size.
  • Image with a transparent background displays better


2. 

In Classic:

Click the '+' icon on the Navigation bar | Find 'Documents' and click on it | Click the 'New' button under this | Fill up the Document Name | Tick the checkbox for 'Externally Available Image' so that its accessible | Select the folder you want it to be saved | Upload the logo by clicking 'Choose File' | Find the file on your Computer and click 'Open' | Click 'Save' | Now edit the logo for our Classic App > Click Setup | Start typing and click 'Apps' | Click 'Edit' beside the name of the App that you want to edit | Click 'Insert an Image' | Locate the folder and choose the image that you want to use | Click Save


In Lightning:

Gear icon | Setup | start typing 'App Manager' | On the right, click the drop down arrow next to the App that you want to edit | Click 'Edit' | Under 'App Details & Branding', click 'Clear' below the logo preview box | Click 'Upload' then find the image and click 'Open' | Click Save.


To make the above changes, permissions required are-

  • View Setup and Configuration
  • Customize Application
  • Modify All Data
