Only Lightning View - Switch Off Salesforce Classic and its related issues

We can restrict users' access to Salesforce Classic

Setup(lightning) | start typing Lightning in Quick Find box | select Lightning Experience Transition Assistant | Select the Optimize phase | Click Turn Off Salesforce Classic for Your Org to expand the stage | Turn on Make Lightning Experience your org’s only experience 

Now, Users see Lightning Experience the next time they log in to Salesforce that is They no longer see the Switch to Salesforce Classic link.


To turn off Salesforce Classic access for  most of the users but not all users, use the Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic permission instead. You can also create permission set providing this access (Deselect Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic permission) and assign to users whom you want to allow to switch between both view.



Common Issues- 


1-Users can't see the option 'Switch to Salesforce Classic'

Setup | Users | Profiles | Select the User's profile | System Permission |  Edit | Deselect Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic permission if it's enabled | Save to solve the issue


2-Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic is not working as expected.

Make sure these 3 permissions are disabled in the user Profile or in assigned Permission Sets

Manage Users.
Customize Application.
Modify all Data.

Also,  "Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic"  should be checked.
