This allows users to report on changes to records in this object over time or in other words, this allows you to track how field values have changed over time.
User permission required is Create and Customize Reports for to create, edit, and delete reports in private folders and Report Builder for to create, edit, and delete reports in public and private folders.
Please check the considerations in the link mentioned below like storing such data will increases storage usage.
Steps:
Setup | Historical Trending | Select the object that you want to do historical trend reporting on | Select Enable Historical Trending | We can use filter under Configure Data to filter | Select Fields (upto 8) for historical trend reporting. | Save
