There are two feature sets in Salesforce: Quip Advanced (previously Salesforce Anywhere Advanced) and Quip for Customer 360.

Technically, QUIP is slack and google docs combined into one.
Slack is like Microsoft teams which connects you with the people and tools you work with every day so you can easily collaborate with the team.
Google Docs is used to create and collaborate on online documents. We can edit together with secure sharing in real-time and from any device.
Quip documents come alive with unique tools like embedded spreadsheets, kanban boards, project trackers, checklists with assignees and due dates even live salesforce data. So, conversations are always in context of the work so teams can communicate make decisions and take action without searching through emails, chat apps or multiple file versions.
You can even automate quip actions with process builder and flows from sending alerts when the deal closes to automatically creating a template case document when a case is escalated.

If you need to have the same information in more than one document, then live paste it
that is Simply copy the information needed to other Quip documents, right click and click on 'live paste'.
Every time the source Quip document is updated, all Quip docs linked are also updated.

Quip has a live comment stream along with emojis. We can track all interactions and conversations in the sidebar of your Quip document and express through emoji about exactly how we feel.
Quip Slides
This collaborative slide enables you to have real time feedback and engagement insight from your team, live data feeds from Quip Spreadsheets and Feedback Prompts that work similar to comments in google docs.(these feedback prompts allows you to ask for feedback by tagging your team, or seeing who’s engaged there and then.) Live Report Enhancements -
@[mention] is used to put a person’s name, it’s also a function that is used to get data. The data is now embedded from Salesforce in your Quip document. The greatest thing is that if you choose ‘Live Data’, it’s live! Again, without switching context, we get access to all data we need in one place. (No need to continuously go back, copy and paste the updated reports, and those who can are able just to get the live data straight from accessing your Quip doc. No more back and forth emails on the latest data.)
Related Lists -
If you need the fields to be displayed differently, you have the ability to do this like we do. Also, there's inline editing and syncing too, i.e. bi-directional data is synced. No need to go back to Salesforce org to find the account, related list and then risk copy and paste errors so saving time and energy. It’s all in real time, just sync or refresh and your data is up to date!
Live Deal Feeds-
By using Live Deal Feeds you can have all your sales data in one place, easily downloaded from Salesforce AppExchange. This alerts you when a deal is closing or if it’s being pushed out. So when you’re coming to the end of the quarter you can be kept well informed on how your sales team is doing and send off messages of congratulations, or motivation, to keep them at the pace your organisation needs!
