Salesforce Connected App - API is not enabled for this Organization or Partner - Error - in Workbench
Issue:
We are trying an API call and don't have API enabled.
Solution:
Please check on the organization settings. Enterprise, Unlimited and Developer editions has the API enabled by default. Professional Customers can purchase this feature.
Also check on the profile for the user. Access the profile settings in order to verify that API is enabled as well.
Steps:
Go to Setup | Administration Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.
Go to the profile, under 'Administrative Permissions' - API Enabled should be checked.
