Schedule-Triggered flow Example:

 

Get Accounts which are now 30 days before the expiration date and based on that lets send email to the Account Creator (for example).

 

Steps:

1.      Create a formula field in Account –

 

Suppose we have a field –



 

Now the formula field with return type checkbox -





 

2.      Create Email Template and Email Alert –

 

e.g.

Email Alert to be used in flow, here in email alert we have used the above template –



 

 

3.      Let’s create the scheduled triggered flow:

Get the Account(s) meeting the criteria -



 

 

d.  Use Action element –

 

To select the Alert we created above - we need to start typing the alert name, search, and select

 



 We need to send the email to the Record Creator, so select the same -



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

e. link them to complete the flow-

 



 

 

f. Save the flow

 

4.      Configure Org-Wide Email Address –



Add and Save

 

5.      Go to Process Automation Setting and fill up the Automated Process Email Address-



 

6.      Activate the Flow and test the same.
